Dubuque RenFaire moves to Sherrill, Iowa
The Dubuque Renaissance Faire has moved to a long-term location at Camp Albrecht Acres in Sherrill, Iowa. Dates have not changed, though, so mark May 21-22 on your calendar if you’re in the area.
What started as a fundraiser for the Dubuque Museum of Art has, this year, been added to an extensive lineup of fundraisers to help provide a unique environment for people with special needs. Camp Albrecht Acres serves disabled children and young adults, providing an eight week summer camp program allowing campers to stay a week at a time. Campers enjoy a typical summer camp experience during their stay, getting the opportunity to fish, hike, swim and participate in a wide range of fun activities.
