RenaissanceFestival.com members invade Tn Ren Fest

The members for the online forum, RenaissanceFestival.com, have invaded the Tennessee Renaissance Festival for the 3rd RenDezvous. Those who came in on Friday night met at Bluesboro in downtown Murfreesboro for a Meet-n-Greet. Saturday’s main event was a fundraiser for RESCU, held in the special events area. Some members of the forum agreed to have 2 hours of their company auctioned off to the highest bidders.

Those being auctioned included Tennessee’s Queen Elizabeth I, known on the forums as Syrilla, a stuffed parrot named Blue that is the official mascot of the group the volunteers, and fourteen others ranging from pirates to wenches to cavaliers. The event was a wonderful success with more than $1300 being raised and a wonderful time had by all. My time was won by Sir Ironhead and Leinad’s results brought a chuckle as he won and was won by FestMum. Both couples enjoyed their time, wandering the faire and talking.
