Renaissance Faire News - Sharing the Joy of Faire, one post at a time at FaireNews.com!!

The "Have You Met?" series introduces you to some of the people who make Faire a joy!

Pamela Bruner, harp crusader

While searching for last Friday’s FaireFun post information, I came across something I thought some of you might find interesting.

Harpist and instructor, Pamela Bruner, taught herself to play harp after becoming enamoured with the instrument at a Renaissance Festival. She learned so well that she performs and teaches now. One of the real stumbling blocks, though, for those who express an interest in learning to play is the cost of the instrument.

Working with her husband, Dave Woodworth of Heartland Harps, the couple has created the Dreamweaver model, a 34-string floor harp. At less than half the cost of a custom Heartland, it’s the perfect beginner’s model. And they’ve made it easy when you’re ready to upgrade, offering a trade-in policy towards the custom models.

See the complete story, “Anyone Can Play the Harp in One Year for US$5/Day” at PR Newswire Europe.
