Southern Connecticut Renaissance Festival – Faire Fun for July 11-21, 2008
The Southern Connecticut Renaissance Festival continues this Friday at Warsaw Park in Ansonia, Connecticut. Open Friday evening and each day til 10pm. A $2 discount coupon on full day adult tickets is available for printing and the discount on ticket prices for those arriving after 6pm is still in affect. In addition to all the usual Renaissance shows and shopping, this is Wizards’ Weekend. There will be a special stage and merchant area for all manner of wizardly goings on. The profits from the Wizard Stage and related Wizard Weekend special events will go to The Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven (www.lvagnh.org). Lauren Garrison of the New Haven Register interviewed attendees who were there last weekend for her article “Renaissance festival kid-friendly, forsooth” and it sounds like those she talked to had a great time.
