Ishpeming Renaissance Festival – Faire Fun for July 31-August 6, 2008

The 9th annual Ishpeming Renaissance Festival is this Saturday in Lake Bancroft Park, Ishpeming. The Midwest Amateur Renaissance Society and the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) will both be present to provide ambiance. Don your best garb and enter the costume contests, offering prizes for best child, male, female, couple, and wench. An array of activities to amuse the little ones can be found at the Kid’s Castle area.
It’s a free event.
