Renaissance Faire News - Sharing the Joy of Faire, one post at a time at FaireNews.com!!

The "Have You Met?" series introduces you to some of the people who make Faire a joy!

The Renaissance is coming … to New Hampshire, that is!

I first caught wind of a faire returning to New Hampshire on June 12th when a note appeared in SeacoastOnline.com’s gossip column. I contacted Denise McDonough, one of the promoters, and have talked with her a couple times since then. This past week she let me know that all their plans are in place and the website is up.

The Governor’s Inn and Lucky Penny productions present the Rochester Renaissance Faire and Feast the weekend of October 17-19, 2008, in Rochester, NH. They’ll start the event with a King’s Feast on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday will be full days of entertainment, everything from a children’s area with puppets and games to an Oktober-fest the Brew-ha-ha Tavern! If you miss the feast on Friday night, you’ll have a second chance as King Spaulding orders it all done again on Saturday evening.

For more details about the event, check their website. Merchants, they are still taking applications.

Do you know if they are looking for more performers? If so, who do I contact? I can also try and get NERennies, Renspace and post on facebook if they would like some more help promoting the show.

Could you let me know please?

    Thanks,

    Gia

PS. There was another Faire in Milbridge, ME on July 26th and July 27th, and they have just posted the pictures on their website. Let me know if you would like the link.

    Gia,

I don’t have any more information at this time. I’ve sent an email to the promoter with your questions and asked her to either comment here or email you directly.

Why don’t you make a comment in the Millbridge Renaissance Faire post with the link to the pictures. Then everyone can see them.

Thanks for sharing what you find.
