Ohio Renaissance Festival – Faire Fun for August 28 – September 3, 2008
Ohio
The Ohio Renaissance Festival opens tomorrow for the first of its eight week run. And what better way to start than with three full days of Two Adults for the Price of One. All you have to do is request “Two For One” at the box office or use that code when you buy your tickets online. Just don’t forget to save a couple of ducats in your pouch to pay for parking.
Stop by to see Jerry and Brad, plus whoever they pull in to play with them, as the New Minstrel Revue takes to the Aleing Knight Stage.

You do realize there is a growing number of people who believe the Ohio Renaissance festival is a serious fire danger as well as an abuser of civil rights?
I think you would do very well to read the protest site before just believing the lies that the problems are all imaginary. It now contains specific fire, electrical and building code violations by the numbers. I think the place is a dangerous facility run by a corporate slum lord.

We have reviewed both the ORFProtest site and the original protest site. We understand your concerns regarding the faire and have no disagreement with your right to bring those concerns to light.
Having not attended the Ohio Renaissance Festival in at least six years, and then only as patrons, the FaireNews crew can neither agree with the protest nor defend the Faire management.
Readers, please form your own opinions but …. let’s keep any protest conversations over on the Protest site. Commenting here will water down the impact of your thoughts.
