It’s closing weekend at the Des Moines Renaissance Faire and it’s all about Romance, Wine, and Royal Reverlry. To save a little time and money, you can buy discount tickets at area Hy-Vee stores.
For the best chance at spectacular cast photos, make sure to see the opening and closing gate shows. The entire schedule for the weekend is online to make it easy for you to plan those must see shows.

Closing weekend was rescheduled to the 20th and 21st due to weather conditions in Des Moines (flash flood warnings, etc.) So, one more chance for folks to make it!
The new dates will now conflict with a brand new event in Omaha, Nebraska — the Midlands Pirate Festival. Since both events shared a few acts and merchants, this rescheduling will affect them both somewhat.

Thanks for letting us know, Allen. I’ve added Des Moines to the calendar for next week. Hopefully everything will work out for the scheduling conflicts.
