No Sunburn for us, thanks to Sun-X Sunscreen Towelettes
*grinning* The following is not a paid advertisement though, if you use the link to make a purchase, Amazon will send us a few pennies to help support FaireNews.
We went to The Florida Renaissance Festival in Deerfield Beach (near Ft Lauderdale) this weekend. We picked up the wee ones, got them in garb and arrived at faire around 1pm, just in time for the full brunt of the sun. I’d purchased Sun-X SPF 30+ Sunscreen Towelettes through Amazon.com a couple of weeks back and this was our first trial. One towelette had enough sunscreen to coat the arms, neck, and faces of all four of us. Our son commented that it smelled like sunscreen but was “way quicker” to put on. It wasn’t greasy feeling, very light and absorbed very quickly.
I’m pleased to report that there was not even a touch of pink on any of us. The package is small (2″ x 3.5″) and I slipped a couple in my pouch though we never used them. If you’re looking for a way to make the sunscreen a little more transportable and less messy to use, give these a shot.

We’re still using the Sun-X towlettes with much success and sharing them when we see people in need. They’re great for Leinad at work also, he’ll actually take the time to put on more sunscreen on his breaks.
