It’s a weekend full of Shamrocks and Shenanigans at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. This weekend is also the culmination of the Beer Barons Brew Brawl. Ales, Lagers, Meads, and Ciders will be sampled and judged as part of a Beer Judging Certification Program (BJCP) sanctioned event.
You can get discount tickets a couple of ways:
- Buy-one-get-one for Standish & Zeeland this week, plus three schools
- Click’nPrint your discount tickets and walk right in the gate
- Wear green this weekend and get $2 ticket discounts at the box office.
- Participating Wendy’s, Kroger, and Walgreens locations will sell you discount tickets too!
Don’t forget to register for the Kroger Free Gas Giveaway while you’re at the festival.
The Wenches’ special event last weekend ended up getting curtailed by heavy downpour, thanks to Hurricane Ike. So they’re doing it again this weekend. It’s a special fundraiser to benefit the Susan G Komen for the Cure foundation, to fund Breast Cancer Research.

Welcome to FaireNews, Gerald. The Michigan Renaissance Festival is on Dixie Highway in Holly, Michigan. Their run this year is August 22 – October 4. You can find all the details on their website at Michigan Renaissance Festival.
