The Bay Area Renaissance Festival (BARF) swings wide the gates to Fiddleworth Saturday morn for the start of the 2008 season. This week the shire will celebrate Arabian Nights by hosting the Florida State Belly Dance Championships on the Gypsy Stage. For more information on the competition, download the PDF flier. By the way, I’ve heard some people say that the website hasn’t been updated. I found that if you click the links twice, sometimes they work.
February 23 – 25
The Florida Renaissance Festival will open for their third weekend and on Monday for a school day. The box office will be closed on Monday, pre-registration is required.
In Closing:
The Faire News crew will be at BARF and I’ll have a review for you on Tuesday. Be sure to say Hi if you see us!
We can only get to one event per week. If anyone goes to one of the others, I’d love to hear about it in a comment or email. If you meet someone you think should be interviewed, tell us about it.
Have a great week, whatever you do and …. we’ll see you at Faire!
