Tybee Island Pirate Fest – Faire Fun for October 9-15, 2008

Pirates are swarming ashore for the 4th annual Tybee Island Pirate Fest. The festivities begin tomorrow evening, with cannons blazing as the pireates search for the Mayor and the key to the city, and continue into Saturday with booty to loot, music to enjoy, and pirates on parade.

I attended the Pirate Festival in GA. It was really rainy and windy. The Marshall Tucker Band concert was rained out. I have attended all of the Pirate Festivals and this was the first time that it rained. We all had fun and will be back next year 2009.

Welcome to FaireNews, Michelle. I’m glad you had a good time at the Festival in spite of the rain. We’ve found that rain isn’t all that bad, depending on the temperature. Tends to send the less enthusiastic home and leave the lanes to those who enjoy it most.
