Hoggetowne Medieval Faire looking for volunteers
Florida
Hoggetowne Medieval Faire is looking for volunteers to help bring the “Adventures of King Arthur” to life. In exchange for four hours of work, you’ll receive a commemorative t-shirt and a pass to come back another day. Volunteers are needed for such activities as:
- Distributing programs, stamping hands or taking tickets at the entrance gates, greeting thousands of guests as they come to enjoy the magic of Hoggetowne.
- Lend a hand at the Children’s Art and Essay Pavilion, where Hoggetowne showcases the talent and skill of more than 300 pieces of art work from area students.
- Individually greet artists and relieve them for breaks by booth sitting.
Volunteers are being accepted through January 13 and more details are available on the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire’s Volunteer Program website.
The Faire takes place January 24-25 and January 30-February 1, 2009 in Gainesville, Florida
