Proactive AKA “Get It In Gear”
Today, I’m the guest poster over on Christine Kane’s blog in her month long series on the results of selecting a Word-of-the-Year. Rather than making New Years Resolutions, Christine chooses a word she’ll focus on for a whole year. She shared her process with her readers last December, offering it up as something for consideration.
In November, Christine wrote a follow-up post, asking if any of her readers had chosen a word and if they would be willing to share the what they had learned. I took that challenge and sent off an essay.
Seeing it in print today reminded me that I’ve not been very PROACTIVE lately. Warning, my friends, cliché coming – If FaireNews is going to be, it’s up to me!
So on that note, things are going to start happening around here again. This is the first post in a week, but it won’t be the last and they won’t be this far apart again. I’ve got interviews to write, there are auditions coming up, and all kinds of things going on.
