Live near San Antonio, Texas, and jonesing for faire? Pencil St Francis-upon-the-hill Renaissance Faire on to your calendar for March 5, 2011, at the St. Francis Episcopal Church on Bluemel Road.
Tickets are $5 for anyone over the age of 11 unless your dressed in period costumes. Then you’ll get in for only $2 each. Since you’ve got a little time, they’ve made getting ready to dress up easier by including descriptions and pictures of costumes worn by participants, listings for local and online merchants who sell appropriate pieces, and some links to tutorials on making your own costumes.
