Perth Medieval Fayre
I’ll admit to a touch … ok, really a giant amount … of wanderlust. So learning that there will be a Medieval Fayre in Perth, Australia, just set me to figuring how I could get there. Looks like it won’t be this year, it conflicts with closing weekend at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival which is my home faire.
But for those of you who live or are visiting on the other side of the world, let me know if you get to attend the Perth Medieval Fayre, April 5 & 6, 2008 at the Supreme Court Gardens.

The fayre last year was cancelled because it rained – the lawn was just one massive puddle 🙁
And apparently, the 2009 fayre is cancelled too, for reasons unknown ;(

Welcome to FaireNews, Alana. Sorry to hear about the rain, we had massive amounts at opening weekend last year but clear and sunny skies this year. We’ve heard of quite a few faires not opening this year or postponing for a year. We’ll hold a good thought for Perth in 2010.
