Looking Back at April 7 – 13, 2008
The Escondido Renaissance Faire’s final weekend was sunny and pleasant. The pictures and articles indicate that it was a great show. They’ll be back in Felicita Park October 25 & 26 and November 1 & 2, so if you missed the spring event, get ready for the fall one.
Four Winds Renaissance Faire continued with the Romance weekend being cool and breezy.
Georgia Renaissance Festival did get a little rain but it cleared early on Saturday, leaving a cool day just right for showing off cloaks, which seldom happens in Georgia. Faire management tells me that the crowd loves the new “All the King’s Horses Royal Lipizzan Stallion Show,” and especially the 8- and 10-year-old trainers.
Scarborough Renaissance Festival had beautiful cool weather for their Deaf Awareness weekend with signed shows. I’m sure it was appreciated those attending the three weddings and the birthday party. Though still finalizing attendance figures, faire management estimates the weekend gate at 18,500.
