I just went to the opening weekend camping all weekend. I dress up and go religiously to Texas Renaissance Festival in Houston, since I live there. I have been to many first year fairs and was never impressed at all. I was hoping a better opening with this one, since I know a lot of the people who are involved. But what i saw this weekend went above and beyond all my hopes and expectations!!! I was immensely impressed!! They had more buildings than most 10yr fairs I’ve seen. The actors were top notch, the performers were fabulous (many taken from TRF and Scarborough). The location was very woodsy and felt like you had stepped back 800yrs. I am going back another 3 weekends for this fair.
