Renaissance Faire News - Sharing the Joy of Faire, one post at a time at FaireNews.com!!

Welcome to FaireNews

Escarlata at the John Levique Pirate Days, 2008Hi! I’m glad you decided to check out FaireNews.com. It’s so much fun making connections. Would you take a minute and leave a comment, telling me how you found us?

Around here, you’ll find information about Renaissance Faires, Medieval Festivals, Pirate Days, Faerie and Fantasy events all over the country. Really, you’ll find information about any kind of event that you might see a woman wearing a bodice or corset. After all, I’m a woman, I love being laced into bodices and corsets, and I’m always looking for an opportunity to share the Joy of Faire!

You can also find information on Faire and Festival auditions, casting calls, and job fairs; articles about some of the people who make Faire a joy in the “Have You Met?” series; and updates on who’s performing and where discount tickets can be found for upcoming Faire Fun.

Feel free to look around and leave a comment here or there. Be sure to check out the FaireNews Readers post and, if you’re so inclined, take the survey.

I am so glad I found this site!! I saw your picture, wearing a bodice, on Twitter, and I knew you must be a fellow faire enthusiast. I am trying to get Renaissance lovers to visit my site, so this site is a gold mine of information. I will be back soon, and often. Thanks for a great.

Donna Sprague wrote a really nice article last year for our little faire in Norton, MA and have been trying to plug you ever since! Do feel free to join http://renaissanceperformers.ning.com and post about FaireNews there as well!

I love that we can join as a community to grow stronger on the family front!

Saw you following me on Twitter — happy to add some more rennies to my follow-list. Playtron – on many costume lists. Home faire is NYRF, though I sometimes attend NJRK, PARF, and MDRF.

I found you on Twitter a week or so back while doing searches for RenFaire comments. It’s good to have you here at FaireNews. I’ve not been to the NYRF but have been to NJ and PA. Maybe one of these days … we’ll see you at Faire!

I’ve been to Tennessee Renaissance Faire each year since 2005. The Ranger and I were handfasted there in 2007 & 2008. It’s a wonderful faire and maybe one day … we’ll see you at Faire!

People on fb are saying they can’t read the. Az. Ren fair info and are looking for another link

I had trouble reading the Arizona RenFaire post on Facebook too. Searching their website didn’t turn up any better image. I guess the best thing to do would be to call Jessica at the faire office as suggested. I find it disappointing that they’ve not posted it anywhere else. If I do find a better image, I’ll be sure to post it to Twitter.

I came across your site while looking for reviewers for my children’s novel series. The setting is a Renaissance festival so it was some of my search criteria. Awesome stuff here!
