SCA introduced to troops in Afghanistan
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) was introduced to troops by a member while he served in Afghanistan via rapier practice sessions during off-duty hours. Tymothe Rankyn of Cathanar (Sgt Eric Rankin, USMC) detailed the results in a letter to his home shire.
At the end of the letter, he put out a call for sporting goods donations to aid in the continuation of the practices.
