Queen’s Gambit concert July 24th in Parsons, Kansas
Queen’s Gambit, a traditional Celtic music group, takes the stage for a July 24th performance as part of Parsons, Kansas, 2008 Music in the Park series. The members of the group will be in renaissance period costumes and members of the audience are encouraged to garb up.
This is the first year for the Music in the Park series to be held at its new, permanent facility in the Forest Park Ampitheatre, located in the northwest corner of Forest Park near the intersection of 13th and Broadway. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and enjoy an evening of delightful music beginning at 7:30pm. Concessions, provided by local vendors will be available in the park starting at 6:30 p.m.
In case of severe weather conditions, the concerts will be moved to the Parsons Municipal Auditorium, 112 S. 17th. For more information you can call (620) 421-7032 or log onto the Parsons website.
