Looking back at January 5&6, 2008
This first look back finds big plans in the works as faires all over the country prepare for the coming season.
Croteau Productions announced the Sarasota Medieval Faire in Sarasota, Florida, the weekend of April 5 & 6. Auditions at the new faire site are scheduled for January 27, 2008. The website is under construction with the new updates.
Songwood’s second casting call was this past weekend (good luck to all who auditioned) as site work continued on the grounds in Manvel, Texas. They are scheduled for grand opening the weekend of February 23 & 24, 2008.
Arizona Renaissance Festival posted information about their themed weekends.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival announced new and continuing events for the 2008 season on their website.
Last, but not least here at FaireNews, was the interviewing of tomorrow’s guest and scheduling of interviews with two more. HUZZAH!

Auditions will be held AT THE NEW SITE! The Sarasota Fair Grounds (by Robarts Arena)
3000 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota, 34237
(Turn in down the road the Boy’s Club is on, and drive towards the end where you take your driver’s license test. On the right, you’ll see the festival site within the fence)
Experience not required – we want fun, energetic people who have always said, “I’d like to do this one day!”
ALL Cast rehearsals will be a weekday night.
Chessboard rehearsals will be on the weekends from 9a – 2pm
